Chefsbar Vondels opened last winter on the Croeselaan in Utrecht and has been growing fast ever since. We are a young team under construction, working every day to establish a strong signature of our own. The open kitchen and lively bar are the beating heart of the place: welcoming, culinary and quirky – a place for the city and the neighborhood.
About the position
As Assistant Sommelier, you will be jointly responsible for the wine experience within Chefsbar Vondels. You advise guests, think about the wine list and make sure that wine and food come together perfectly.
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic personality with a passion for wine and hospitality. Someone who not only brings knowledge, but also has the ambition to develop further within the profession.
You are someone who:
- Has a completed WSET Level 2 (or equivalent)
- Has experience in the hospitality industry
- Is enthusiastic and passionate about wine
- Happy to advise guests and engage them in the story behind the wine
- Has an eye for detail and wants to provide high-level service
- Is curious and wants to develop further within the sommelier profession
- Brings energy and functions well within a young team
